They were leading their team to victory, but failed to do it because of the bowlers of the touring team.

Tamim Iqbal was conferred both the Man of the Match and the Man of the Series awards.

BCB announces 15-man T20I squad against West Indies

The three-match ODI series between Bangladesh and West Indies has just come to an end, with the visitors winning the series 2-1 against West Indies. Now, both teams will take on each other in a three-match T20I series starting from August 1, 2018 in St. Kitts before traveling to the USA and Lauderhill in Florida to play the second and third T20I matches. For this upcoming series, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-man squad.
The notable inclusion of this squad is the left-arm fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman. This is the only change to the squad which was whitewashed 3-0 by Afghanistan in June. The fast-bowler, who sustained a toe injury while playing in the last edition of the IPL for Mumbai Indians, could not make his place in the squad that played against Afghanistan and was also ruled out of the Test squad against West Indies for not being fully fit. Abul Hasan, who replaced the injured Mustafizur in the squad for the Afghanistan series, has been dropped.

T20I Squad: Shakib Al Hasan (C), Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Litton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Sabbir Rahman, Mahmudullah, Mosaddek Hossain, Mehidy Hassan Miraz, Nazmul Islam, Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Abu Haider, Abu Jayed, Ariful Haque.
